Site Clerk (Afrimat Mining Services Nkomati)

Afrimat Mining Services at D&B N’komati has a vacancy for a:

Site Clerk

Responsibilities include (but not limited to the following):
  • Execute general administrative duties
  • Managing procurement process, keep good track of orders.
  • Diesel to be ordered on time and ensure correct quantities.
  • Assist with daily diesel dips and reports – ensure information is correctly recorded before submitting reports.
  • Accurately keep record of load & hauling of material.
  • Time registers to be updated daily.
  • Timesheets to be certified correctly and on time for month end payroll.
  • Assist HR with staff queries and paperwork as requested.
  • Maintain databases and filing systems up to date.
  • Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by manager.
  • Train reports.
Minimum Qualification/ Experience:
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Effective communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent written communication skills
  • Applicates from the following Tribal authorities will be preference: Lugedlane, Mawewe, Matsamo
  • Must Be Compute Literate
  • Willingness to learn nor systems and capture information
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships internal and external, on all levels
  • Must be able to work accurately with exceptional attention to detail
  • Familiar with Excel and word
  • Flexible working hours because of remoteness of the site
  • Be prepared to work after hours when needed
  • Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment

The candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
