Eckraal Quarries, based in Rosslyn has a vacancy for a:
ADT Operator
(Fixed Term Contract)
Minimum Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid driver’s license
- Technical/Core Training: Valid ADT Competency Certificate
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role/ environment.
- Ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
- Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Safe operation of ADT inside mining area
- Handling and / or moving of material
- Effectively communicate to all site personnel
- Daily pre-start inspections on ADT
- Keep machine clean
