Artisan Assistant
Minimum Qualification / Requirements
- Grade 12
- Excellent knowledge of hand- & power tools
- Write, understand and communicate in English
- No criminal record
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Assist Artisan as requested with daily and after hour tasks
- Assist Artisan with housekeeping in workshop and on other sites
- Assist Artisan to conduct routine maintenance as directed
- Report faulty equipment and unsafe conditions
- Assist Artisan to change faulty equipment / parts as requested
- To ensure that Safety rules and procedures are adhere to, according to the rules and regulations of the workshop and mine
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Be prepared to work after hours when needed
- Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Will be able to work independently as well in a team environment.
