Business Systems Administrator (Auxiliary Systems)
Minimum Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in systems administration and maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license (required) and own vehicle (preferred), with willingness to travel.
- Strong communication, presentation, and administrative skills.
- Proven ability to solve problems, deliver excellent customer service, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated track record within a Business Systems support environment.
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
As a Business Systems Administrator within the Auxiliary Systems department, you will be responsible for supporting and optimising business systems and related processes within Afrimat. You will work closely with People Managers and key stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation, performance, and continuous improvement of various systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support across the following systems: Web Register, Unis, ESS, SAGE 300 People, Papertrail, Kofax, and BEE123.
- Monitor and ensure optimal performance and availability of all supported systems.
- Manage system implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Administer user access, ensuring appropriate controls and compliance.
- Ensure timely implementation of system workflows and configuration change requests to minimise business disruption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues reported by users or identified through system monitoring.
- Assist with system upgrades, including testing and implementation of new developments.
- Provide end-user training and support, including the creation and maintenance of training manuals and documentation.
- Perform data imports as required.
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably assigned.
