Financial Accountant
Minimum Qualification / Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- B.Com Accounting degree or equivalent qualification (associated articles)
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Experience in ERP system, preferably Sage X3
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and hardworking
- Keen problem solver
- Shows commitment and takes ownership of work
- Must have the ability to work without supervision
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Be able to compile and report on management accounts
- Preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and analysis of results
- Inventory/Stock management with overseas manufacturing and import divisions
- Oversee the compilation of accurate monthly accounts
- Ensure appropriate financial close procedures are in line, including account reconciliations, a full review of P & L including overhead accounts etc.
- Managing and compiling Budgets, forecasts, and cashflow
- Complete accurate monthly forward forecasting
- Calculating and managing the landing cost of imported products and pricing
- Management and ownership of the Annual Financial Audit process
- Reporting, budgets and forecasts, excellence strategic review capital expenditure.
- Procurement cards, various reconciliations (rebates, inventory) and general assistance
- Management complete procurement process.
- Procurement and warehouse
- Management of multiple site contracts
- Business process training, Flowcentic and JDE, Audits – SABS
- Project purchasing and manage buyers
- Warehouses and spares management
