Front End Loader Operator
Minimum Qualification / Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid driver’s license
- Technical/Core Training: Valid Front End Loader Competency Certificate
- 2 years+ experience in a mining environment
- Ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
- Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Safe operation of Front End Loader inside mining area
- Handling and / or moving of material
- Effectively communicate to all site personnel
- Daily pre-start inspections on Front End Loader
- Keep machine clean
