Front End Loader Operator
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Technical/Core Training: Valid Front End Loader Competency Certificate.
- 2 years+ experience in a mining environment.
- Ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Safe operation of excavator inside mining area.
- Handling and / or moving of material.
- Effectively communicate to all site personnel.
- Daily pre-start inspections on Front End Loader.
- Keep machine clean.
