General Worker
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Must have 2-3 years’ experience in aggregate or Ready-mix.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Ensure optimum truck delivery scheduling is maintained
- Ensure safe passage and delivery environment for delivery vehicles to and from on site
- Ensure correct housekeeping.
- Ensure product integrity is maintained during delivery cycle
- Ensure customer testing is done as per required test method
- Liaise with each delivery point responsible person
- Assist his senior in reasonable tasks delegated
- Able to provide technical and operational support to customers
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff and drivers
- Sound knowledge of the building and construction industry
- Knowledge of the readymix industry
- To plan, organise, motivate and control the concrete deliveries on customer site and to co-ordinate needs and the company’s capacity within the sales order context of the plant.
