Weighbridge Clerk
Minimum Qualification / Experience
- Grade 12 certificate
- Must have sound knowledge & understanding of the mining environment
- Must have a good understanding of the legal aspects pertaining to a mine/quarry
- Basic financial skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate: Microsoft excel, word, outlook
- Good leadership skills
- Good administrative capabilities
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be safety conscious
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Data capturing and completion of various reports i.e. Diesel report, Yams, ASMS/Maintenance job cards
- Assist with dispatch operations
- Scheduling & verifying of loads according to orders
- Analyze the order & quantities required for each job
- Maintain the records of all order received, dispatched correctly; accurately ensure all delivery notes are signed, etc.
- Report any dispatch & related problems to the immediate superior immediately
- Any other reasonable & lawful work-related instruction & given to the employee by an authorized person
- Adhere to all SHE rules and regulations that are applicable on the site e.g. Induction Training
- Adhere to the Quality Assurance responsibility during the production process by constantly monitoring & evaluating that a computerized maintenance strategy is employed to ensure absolute reliability & minimum down time
