Crusher Operator
Minimum Qualification / Requirements:
- Grade 12.
- Heavy equipment certificate.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in operating mobile crushing plants.
- Knowledge of crushing and screening.
- Experience in working in remote mining sites and in a cross-cultural working environment.
- Knowledgeable of Mine Health and Safety Act requirements.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to safely work, day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
- Able to work in harsh weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):
- Safely and effectively operate the mobile crushing machine by crushing blasted rock and other materials.
- Conduct any required maintenance.
- Ensure that there is enough material to run the machine.
- Continually check the running of the machine to ensure it is running properly. This includes v-belts, conveyors, screens, blockages and bearings.
- Change the screen as required.
- Keep the machine clean.
- Fill up the machine with fuel as required.
