Diesel Mechanic Learner
Minimum Qualification / Requirements / Attributes:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- N6 Qualification
- 18 months of practical experience
- Willing to learn and be trained
- Administrative skills and Microsoft knowledge
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative
- Preferably own transport
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work accurately.
- Honest and reliable.
- Adaptable to change.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of welding and gas welding will be an advantage.
- Able to maintain good housekeeping.
- Always maintain professional workmanship standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and delivery truck fleet.
- Perform machine inspections on earthmoving equipment, delivery truck fleet and compile backlog lists.
- Strictly adhere to applicable quality assurance processes & procedures.
- Pro-actively support & participate in safety & work practice- related initiatives.
- To work overtime when required.
