Key Accounts Manager
Minimum Qualification / Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Relevant Diploma/Degree would be advantageous preferably in the civil engineering discipline.
- 3 years + experience as a Key Accounts Manager.
- Computer literate.
- Solid understanding of the construction materials’ applications, specifications and product results interpretation.
- Problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.
- Travel to various sites and attend customer meetings.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)
- Customer retention and growing the customer base.
- Budget preparations and customer price reviews.
- Compile daily sales reports.
- Nurture good relationships with internal sales clerk, plant, weighbridge, production and the laboratory personnel.
- Weekly and monthly forecasts.
- Liaising with the transport service providers and negotiating special rates with the transport vendors.
- Address and resolve customer queries.
- Execute all agreed projects and / or carry out ad hoc assignments.
