Afrimat Lyttelton (Pty) Ltd, based in Centurion has a vacancy for a:
Laboratory Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Civil Engineering Diploma/Degree/ Supervisory Management certificate (Advantageous)
- Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the company standards for medical fitness
- Must have sound knowledge and understanding of the mining environment
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
- Sampling & Testing of Construction Materials (TMH 5, SANS 3001 AG 1 – AG 23, GR 1 – GR 40)
- Analysing & Interpretation of Test Results (SANS 1083, SANS 1090, COLTO & COTO)
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Laboratory Supervision
- Implementation of Quality System
- Manage all Samples, Testing sequences and reporting of Test results
- Health and Safety
- Equipment Management
- Reports for BPR
- Laboratory Audits
