Student Operator
Minimum Qualification / Experience / Requirements
- Grade 12
- Any Mining Related Qualification will be advantageous
- Valid driver’s license will be advantageous
- PC Literacy will be advantageous
- Experience: None required
- Must be South African citizen
- Must be declared fit by an Occupational Medical Practitioner to perform work on a mine in line with the code of Practice to Perform Work on a Mine and Mines Health and Safety Act
- Disciplined individual with excellent time keeping skills, have a good record of work attendance, presentable and sober habits
- Must be willing to work overtime as and when required to do so
- Must display ability to read, write and communicate in English, ability to understand and communicate in Afrikaans can be advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Willing to learn all aspects of Operating Primary Crushing plant, Calcining of Dolomite, Hydrating of Oxide, Milling of Hydroxide, packing of material, testing of materials, assisting at the yellow fleet and plant maintenance workshops, learning all operational related admin tasks, will be exposed to Safety, Health, Environmental training
