Supervisors
Minimum Qualification / Experience:
- Competent A Person
- Legal Liability
- Grade 12
- First Aid Certificate
- Basic Computer Skills
- Valid Drivers license
- 1-2 Year of Experience being a supervisor and managing mining operations activities and Staff
- Good Verbal and written communication skills
- Good Knowledge of equipment capabilities and operating principals
- Basic understanding of engineering principals and practices
- Able to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours during emergencies and planned overtime
- Own Transport
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)
- Supervise and manage the performance of mining operators, equipment and processes according to the operating plan and procedures
- Supervise, coordinate and motivate the mining team in responsibilities
- Coordinate activities of third-party contractors to minimize disruption of mining processes
- Ensure health and safety legislation and contractual obligations are adhere to
- Ensure complete confidentiality of all information pertaining to the business of the company
- Produce shift reports at the end of every shift
